The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) has invited applications for the position of Research Intern. The internship offers law students an opportunity to work on competition law, technology policy, international trade, and public policy while collaborating with government departments, corporations, and civil society organisations. CCLE is currently hiring two Research Interns for this hybrid internship programme.
The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to legal and policy research, regulatory developments, and public policy analysis while enabling interns to contribute to research publications and outreach initiatives.
About the Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE)
The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) is an India-based law and policy think tank specialising in regulatory strategy, competition law, and good governance. The Centre provides legal representation, stakeholder management, media, and policy research services to public and private stakeholders. It has advised institutions such as the Competition Commission of India (CCI), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Department of Consumer Affairs, while also working with industry bodies and civil society organisations.

CCLE is inviting applications for Research Intern positions. Selected interns will work on research and policy issues relating to competition law, technology policy, international trade, and regulatory affairs while gaining practical exposure to public policy research and stakeholder engagement.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be in the final year of their registered academic programme.
- Early-stage candidates may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns will:
- Monitor and compile national and international developments in competition law, technology policy, and regulatory affairs.
- Participate in webinars and in-person conferences organised by academic institutions.
- Prepare concise research notes for the management.
- Conduct legal and policy research and publish articles in newspapers.
- Prepare content for social media platforms and outreach initiatives.
