Dr. Kumar Askand Pandey, the keynote speaker, emphasized that the Indian Penal Code now includes stringent punishments for crimes against women and children. A special chapter has been added to ensure enhanced protection and justice for these vulnerable groups.
Lalit Mudgal, another speaker, highlighted that the new law incorporates provisions for 'Zero FIR,' which is designed to streamline the process of filing complaints, ensuring that victims can receive immediate legal attention regardless of jurisdiction.
