University of Allahabad Announces Recruitment for Research Staff under ICSSR Minor Research Project

The Department of Geography at the University of Allahabad has issued an official advertisement inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant and Field Investigator under the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR)-funded Minor Research Project for the academic year 2024–25. The project, led by Dr. Koyel Paul, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, focuses on evaluating the "Impact of Geographical and Climatic Conditions on the Success of Governmental Schemes for Girl Child Education", particularly the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Project Overview
The research project aims to assess how geographical and climatic variables influence the outcomes of central government schemes for promoting girl child education. Vacancies and Emoluments
The project includes the following two research positions:

Research Assistant
- No. of Posts: 01
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹37,000 (Consolidated)
- Qualification: Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. and relevant research experience.

Field Investigator
- No. of Posts: 01
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹20,000 (Consolidated)
- Qualification: Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
