Allahabad University PGAT 2025 Correction Window Opens from 22nd May: Course, Category, Email ID Cannot Be Changed

The University of Allahabad has announced the opening of the application correction window for the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT)-2025, providing candidates with an important opportunity to rectify any errors in their submitted application forms. As per the official notification issued by Prof. Jayanta Kumar Pati, Director of Admissions, the correction window will be active for two days only — from 22nd to 23rd May 2025.
Correction Facility for Registered Candidates Only
This correction facility will be available exclusively for those candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms and completed the fee payment by the final registration deadline of 20th May 2025. Candidates are encouraged to log in to the official application portal and review their forms carefully during this period.
Non-Editable Fields in the Application Form
While most parts of the application form will be open for correction, the University has specified that certain critical fields will remain non-editable to maintain the integrity of the admission process. These include:
- Category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD)
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Type of Disability (if applicable)
- Course Applied
Candidates must note that no changes to these fields will be entertained under any circumstances after submission. It is thus essential that students cross-check these specific details beforehand.
How to Make Corrections
To access the correction window, applicants should:
- Visit the official PGAT-2025 portal: https://aupravesh2025.cbtexam.in/
- Log in using their Application ID and Date of Birth
- Navigate to the ‘Edit Application’ section available during the correction window
- Modify permissible fields and save the changes
- Download the corrected application form for reference
No Extension Beyond 23rd May
The university has made it clear that this correction period is strictly time-bound. No further opportunity will be given after 11:59 PM on 23rd May 2025. Candidates missing this window will have to proceed with their originally submitted information.
