The University of Allahabad has officially announced the examination dates for the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT)-2025, which is being conducted for admission into various PG and professional courses including M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA, LL.B., LL.M., and IPS. The entrance exams will be held over four days — 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th June 2025.

Four-Day Schedule for PGAT-2025

As per the press release issued by the Director of Admissions, Prof. Jayanta Kumar Pati, the PGAT-2025 will be conducted in multiple shifts across the four days. The detailed subject-wise schedule will be released shortly on the official admission portals. Candidates are advised to regularly check for updates.

Multiple Modes and Exam Centres Across India

This year, the PGAT-2025 will be conducted in both online and offline modes depending on the exam centre. The dual-mode examination aims to make the test accessible to a larger number of candidates across different regions.

CUET-PG Score Not Valid for PGAT-2025 Admissions

In a critical clarification, the university has reiterated that CUET (PG)-2025 scores will NOT be accepted for admission into any course under PGAT-2025. All candidates must appear for the university’s own entrance exam to be considered for admission.

Admit Cards and Exam Instructions

The admit cards for PGAT-2025 will be made available for download approximately one week prior to the examination. Only those candidates whose applications have been successfully submitted along with the fee will be eligible to download the admit cards from the official website:

Last Date to Register: 20th May 2025

The university has also extended the registration deadline to 20th May 2025. This is the final opportunity to apply. No further extension will be granted. A correction window will be available between 22nd and 23rd May 2025 for minor changes in the application forms.
