The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has officially released the revised results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG 2025 on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The decision follows a directive by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the subsequent approval from the Governing Body of the Consortium.
SC revised CLAT 2025 answers
The Delhi HC identified 4 errors in the CLAT UG question and answers and asked the Consortium to revise the CLAT results 2025. The top court made changes in the CLAT master paper, including question numbers 5, 77, 115, and 116.
On December 20, 2024, the Delhi HC directed the Consortium to revise the CLAT results over alleged errors in answer keys. The CLAT 2025 exam was held on December 1, and the results were declared on December 7. The CLAT exam is held for admission to LLB courses in NLUs and top universities for admission.
Official Notice and Supreme Court Involvement
The official notification issued by the Consortium stated:
“Pursuant to the decision and directive of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and with the approval of the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), the results and counselling schedule for CLAT 2025 (Undergraduate) are hereby published.”
This revision was prompted by legal proceedings and ensures transparency and fairness in the national-level law entrance examination process.
Counselling Registration Now Open
Alongside the announcement of the revised results, the counselling registration window has also been opened from May 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Candidates eligible for counselling can now log in to their official accounts on the Consortium’s website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in — to register.
The deadline for registration is May 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
CLAT UG 2025 Counselling Process
Registered candidates will receive invitations to participate in the counselling process through their registered email ID or mobile number via SMS. Additionally, the invitation will also be displayed on each candidate's CLAT 2025 login portal.
Candidates are advised to validate their participation status in every round, as the Consortium will not be responsible for undelivered communication via email or SMS.

Candidates can check their CLAT UG 2025 revised results by following these steps:
- Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Click on the CLAT 2025 tab on the homepage
- Log in using your registered credentials
- Your CLAT 2025 revised result will appear on the screen
- Download and print a copy for future reference
Important Information for Candidates
- Only registered candidates will be considered for the counselling rounds.
- Counselling will be conducted based on the revised rank list and admissions matrix submitted by the participating National Law Universities (NLUs).
- The invitation for counselling will specify the round and preference list, as per the candidate’s rank.
PG Results Awaited
While the undergraduate results and counselling process have been initiated, the CLAT 2025 Postgraduate results will be released only after the resolution of pending matters before the Delhi High Court, the Consortium added.
