Summer Internship Programme Announced by Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA)
Paid Internship Opportunity for Law Students from June 4 to June 24, 2025
Patna, May 7, 2025 – The Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA), located at Budh Marg, Patna, has officially announced its Summer Internship Programme for Law Students, scheduled to be held from June 4 to June 24, 2025. This 21-day paid internship aims to provide practical legal exposure and training to law students pursuing an LL.B. degree.
Internship Overview and Key Dates
The internship will be conducted physically at the BSLSA premises in Patna, in accordance with directions from the Hon’ble Executive Chairman of BSLSA. Law students who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply via the BSLSA website.
The online application process will begin on May 14, 2025, from 10:00 A.M., and the last date for submission of applications is May 21, 2025, by 11:59 P.M. A list of selected candidates will be published on the BSLSA official website anytime after May 29, 2025.
Eligibility and Application Guidelines
- Only students currently pursuing an LL.B. degree are eligible to apply.
- Students whose university exams coincide with the internship period (June 4–24) are advised not to apply.
- Students who have already interned with BSLSA in previous sessions are not eligible to reapply.
- All applicants must submit a recommendation letter from the Head of their Institution/College in the prescribed Annexure "A" format on the official letterhead.
Internship Benefits
This is a paid internship, offering selected candidates hands-on experience in the functioning of legal services authorities. Interns will get an opportunity to work closely with legal professionals and gain practical insight into legal aid delivery mechanisms.
