PRS Legislative Research (PRS), India’s premier legislative research organization, has opened applications for its offline research internship for August 2025 in New Delhi. This unique internship opportunity provides students and young professionals with an in-depth understanding of the Indian legislative process and policy research.
About PRS Legislative Research
Founded in September 2005, PRS is an independent, non-profit research institute dedicated to strengthening India’s legislative process by making it more informed, transparent, and participatory. Based in New Delhi, PRS was co-founded by C.V. Madhukar and M.R. Madhavan. It was incubated at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) and is now institutionalized as the Institute for Policy Research Studies, a registered Section 8 Company.
PRS provides non-partisan legislative research and works extensively with Members of Parliament (MPs) and legislators to aid their understanding of complex policy matters.

Internship Structure
