📌 Post: Regional Legal Manager
📍 Location: Bengaluru, India
Tata Capital seeks experienced legal professionals to join its team and handle diverse legal responsibilities in property, finance, compliance, and litigation matters.
Eligibility
- Degree in LL.B./LL.M from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of civil laws, property laws, arbitration laws, recovery processes, SARFAESI Act, and other related statutes.
- Experience in vendor management, internal team handling, and legal audits preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence of immovable property, including scrutiny of documents and legal opinions for LAP, home loans, balance transfers, and project approvals.
- Provide legal advisory support to management and business teams, including strategy on stressed asset matters.
- Draft, review, and finalize legal notices, agreements, undertakings, indemnities, affidavits, and loan/security documents.
- Conduct legal audits and training sessions for internal teams (business, credit, and operations).
- Manage legal vendors and handle interactions with SR offices for property registration and title verification.
- Represent Tata Capital before regulatory authorities and government agencies.
- Travel to different business locations when required for training, quality checks, and business purposes.
