🏛️ About the Consortium

The National Legal Research Consortium (NLRC) under the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) is a national initiative focused on empowering women in law, promoting inclusive leadership, and strengthening research-based policy advocacy in the legal field.

The Consortium brings together experienced professionals, academicians, policy thinkers, and law students to collaborate on meaningful initiatives that foster innovation, gender inclusivity, and evidence-driven reforms in India’s legal and policy framework.

💼 Role & Responsibilities

As a Member of the NLRC, you will play a crucial leadership role in advancing the organization’s vision. Key responsibilities include:

1️⃣ Strategic Leadership

• Work closely with the President, Vice President, and other Consortium leaders to develop a unified strategic vision.
• Contribute to a multi-year roadmap aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and goals.
• Offer your unique expertise, ideas, and perspectives to shape the Consortium’s future direction.

2️⃣ Team Collaboration

• Collaborate actively with fellow members to build a solution-oriented, highly engaged leadership team.
• Participate in open discussions on critical issues and ensure consistent communication.
• Present a unified front to the broader legal community and public.

3️⃣ Community Engagement & Education

• Lead public outreach and legal awareness initiatives under the Consortium’s mandate.
• Share knowledge, best practices, and skill-building opportunities for young legal professionals.
• Inspire collective growth through impactful communication and mentorship activities.

4️⃣ Policy Research & Advocacy

• Develop policy recommendations, incentive proposals, and partnership ideas for sustainable legal and economic growth.
• Collaborate with government agencies, legal institutions, and industry bodies to advocate for the implementation of Consortium-endorsed programs.
• Serve as a respected voice for reform and change within the policy ecosystem.
