About the Job – Supervisor (Litigation)

National Law University Delhi is hiring a Supervisor – Litigation for the Victim Advocacy Project.

This is a senior litigation and project supervision role involving criminal litigation, team supervision, and coordination with legal institutions and community organizations.

Eligibility

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 2 years litigation experience
• Knowledge of new criminal laws and special legislation
• Understanding of victim rights and victim-centric criminal jurisprudence
• Experience in legal research, drafting, and court pleadings
• Ability to supervise litigation work and mentor junior legal professionals
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• LL.M. (Criminal Law preferred) or equivalent Master’s degree
• Experience with grassroots organisations / legal services authorities
• Knowledge of MS Excel, AI tools, social media outreach

Responsibilities

The Supervisor (Litigation) will:

• Oversee litigation work under the Victim Advocacy Project
• Supervise Litigation Fellows and Paralegals
• Coordinate with community organisations and legal services authorities
• Implement victim-centric litigation strategies
• Visit courts across Delhi for case supervision
• Maintain litigation records and documentation
• Act as liaison between project team and the University
• Ensure professional standards and timelines

Duration

📆 Three-year engagement (extendable subject to University approval)

💰 ₹1,00,000 per month
