About the Job

Tata Capital Limited is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager under its Legal and Remedial Department.

This role focuses on litigation management, recovery proceedings, arbitration, and legal compliance, making it ideal for candidates interested in banking & finance litigation, SARFAESI matters, and recovery laws.

Eligibility

• Graduation / Master’s / Post-Graduation in a relevant field (preferably Law or allied field as per role requirements)

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing legal advice and guidance on remedies across locations
• Drafting and sending legal notices, replies, and complaints
• Filing cases and representing matters before designated courts
• Managing arbitration proceedings and securing decrees/awards
• Handling recovery litigation under SARFAESI Act and Arbitration laws
• Ensuring execution of court orders, summons, and warrants
• Coordinating with police authorities for enforcement actions
• Tracking legal cases and ensuring timely action without delays
• Visiting NPA accounts with recovery teams for faster resolution
• Initiating legal proceedings against defaulting borrowers
• Coordinating with collection teams for remedial actions
• Attending court hearings and managing empanelled lawyers
• Supervising and leading legal collections teams
• Ensuring compliance with audit, NHB, IRB regulations, and company policies
• Staying updated with legal developments and best practices
