Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The paper consisted of a total of 180 questions, with each question carrying four marks. The total exam was of 720 marks. For every correct answer, candidates were awarded 4 marks, while one mark was deducted for every incorrect answer.

Student Reactions: Mixed Opinions on Difficulty Level

Students' opinions varied regarding the difficulty level of the exam, especially the Physics paper, which many found challenging.

Balaji Mishra, a candidate, shared:
“The paper was average overall. There was not much difficulty in Chemistry and Physics. I had started preparing for NEET several days in advance.”

Mansi Singh expressed similar sentiments:
“The Physics paper was tough. The questions in Biology and Chemistry were normal. Overall, the paper was good. I hope for a good rank.”

Insa Ansari said:
“Physics was quite difficult. Compared to last year, this year's paper was tougher. But for those who prepared well, it was manageable.”

Sakshi, another examinee, mentioned:
“The paper was simple but the questions were twisted. It was difficult to understand them at first. Some Physics questions were tough, but others were quite easy.”

The NEET UG 2025 exam concluded smoothly in Prayagraj with high attendance and tight security. While Chemistry and Biology were perceived as relatively easier, Physics emerged as the toughest subject for most aspirants. With the exam behind them, students now await the results and hope for a favorable outcome based on their performance.
