📌 Allahabad University PGAT 2025: Important Instructions for OMR-Based Exam Candidates

The University of Allahabad has issued comprehensive instructions for candidates appearing in the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2025, specifically for those taking the OMR-based examination. Candidates must strictly comply with the following rules to avoid disqualification or cancellation of their paper.

🔖 What to Carry on the Exam Day?

1. Original Admit Card: Entry without the original admit card is strictly prohibited.
2. Valid Photo Identity Proof (any one of the following in original):
   • PAN Card
   • Passport
   • Driving License
   • Voter ID
   • Bank Passbook with photograph
   • Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar with photograph
   • Employee ID
   • College/University ID issued by a recognized institution
   • ID issued by a Gazetted Officer

❌ Ration Card is NOT accepted as valid ID proof.

⚠️ In case of any discrepancy in name, photograph, or signature, the candidate may be disallowed from appearing.

How to Download PGAT 2025 Admit Card

1. Visit the official PGAT portal: aupravesh2025.cbtexam.in
2. Click on "Download Admit Card" under the PGAT 2025 section
3. Enter your login credentials (Login ID & Date of Birth)
4. Download and take a printout of your admit card

🕐 Reporting & Timing Guidelines

• Reach the exam venue on or before the reporting time printed on the Admit Card.
• No entry after the gate closure time.
• Candidates must not leave the hall until the exam is over and the OMR sheet is submitted to the invigilator.

📘 Instructions for Test Booklet & Answer Sheet

• Verify that the number of pages in the Test Booklet matches what is printed on the cover.
• Do not remove any pages from the booklet. Missing pages may lead to disqualification.
• Report any issues with the test booklet immediately to the invigilator.

✍️ Answer Marking Guidelines

• Use only blue or black ballpoint pen.
• Darken only one circle for each answer.
• Do not use gel pens, ink pens, pencils, sketch pens, whiteners, erasers, or blades.
• Do not mark answers with multiple methods—only the correct darkening method shown below will be accepted:

✅ Correct Method: Fully darken the circle.
❌ Wrong Methods: Tick marks, partially filled circles, crosses, or encircling will not be evaluated.

• Ensure that the circles for:
  • Roll Number
  • Test Booklet Number
  • Question Booklet Series Code
  • Center Code
    are properly filled on the OMR sheet.

📵 Prohibited Items & Conduct

• Mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices, calculators, textual material are strictly banned inside the center.
• Items like bags, purses, pencil boxes are also not permitted.
• Candidates found with restricted items or engaging in unfair means will be disqualified and may face legal action.

📋 Additional Important Notes

• OMR sheets are single-copy and will be submitted after the test.
• Admit cards are provisional and do not guarantee admission.
• Admission is subject to eligibility verification by the University.
• Mere qualification in the exam does not confirm admission.
