About the Opportunity
Saraf and Partners is inviting applications for the role of Trainee Associate in its Litigation & Arbitration Practice. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain in-depth exposure to contentious matters, court practice, drafting, strategy, client interaction, and arbitration work under the guidance of seasoned practitioners.

The Trainee Associate will work closely with senior team members on matters involving courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums.

This is a pre-associate trainee role designed to test and train candidates for potential full-time engagement based on performance.

This structured traineeship allows the candidate to gain comprehensive practical experience over an extended period.
Location
- Hyderabad Office
The candidate will be required to work physically from the Hyderabad office and may need to attend court hearings regularly.
Key Responsibilities (Expected)

- Legal research on procedural and substantive issues
- Drafting of petitions, applications, notices, responses, and briefs
- Assistance in arbitration filings and procedural documentation
- Attending court hearings and preparing case notes

- Coordinating with counsels, clients, and internal teams
- Preparing research notes, case summaries, and status trackers
- Assisting seniors in strategy discussions and client meetings
Eligibility
- Recent law graduates or final-year law students (based on firm’s discretion)
- Strong interest in litigation and arbitration
- Good drafting and research skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
