About the Internship

Verum Legal is inviting applications for a Legal Internship at its Hyderabad office.

This is a hands-on, in-person internship designed to provide exposure to both corporate and litigation practice, making it ideal for students looking to build practical legal skills in a professional law firm environment.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

• Penultimate or final-year law students
• Strongly interested in corporate law
• Equipped with good research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad

Responsibilities

Interns will be involved in:

• Assisting in corporate transactions, structuring, and documentation
• Conducting legal due diligence and compliance advisory
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, term sheets, and board resolutions
• Supporting litigation work before District Courts and High Courts
• Undertaking regulatory research (SEBI, Companies Act, etc.)
• Assisting in startup advisory and IP-related matters
• Supporting client coordination and legal opinion drafting
• Maintaining case files, trackers, and research notes
• Attending client meetings and firm activities
